Celebrate Older Americans in June!
This year's theme for Older American's Month is "Living Today for a Better Tomorrow."
By incorporating physical activity into their daily lives, seniors can help ensure the blessing of imporved length and quality of life. We continue to see the miracles of how modern medicine can improve and sustain life, but nothing can take the place of physical activity for maintinaing muscle strenth and balance. Just by walking or swimming or lifting weights, seniors can see a significant imporvement in their overall health. Our best weapons are literally our own hands: the food we choose to eat, the activities that get us moving.
